High Blood Pressure

“I am a ‘baby boomer’ with slightly elevated cholesterol and mild high blood pressure. My doctor put me on some medications with names I cannot pronounce. Please explain for me the difference between some of these new ‘heart medications’ that are being prescribed such as those with labels like ACE Inhibitor and Beta-Blockers. And can I continue my vitamin and mineral supplement regimen when taking the prescribed medications?”
