Momma Pat's Easy Cabbage Soup

Serves 12

2 envelopes onion soup mix
12 cups water
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoon Garlic powder
1-12 oz pkg. broccoli slaw
1-8 oz pkg. shredded cole slaw greens
1-8 oz pkg. shredded red cabbage
1- 10 oz pkg. shredded carrots
1-12 oz pkg. Soy Veggie crumbles
Light soy sauce and ground red pepper to taste


Place all ingredients, except soy sauce and red pepper, in a large soup pot. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes until the veggies are all tender crisp. Use soy sauce and red pepper to taste. Costs about $1.00 per heart healthy serving.
