Serves 6

2 pounds lean ground beef
1 large egg
1 medium onion finely chopped
½ cup seasoned bread crumbs
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 cup chili sauce
1 cup low sugar grape jelly
2 tablespoons lemon juice

In mixing bowl, mix the ground beef, egg, onion, salt and pepper and bread crumbs well. Form into one inch balls. Place the meatballs on a non-stick baking pan that has been sprayed with vegetable oil spray. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Drain off any fat and liquid that has formed in the pan. Place meatballs into a serving dish. In a small saucepan, mix the chili sauce, grape jelly, and lemon juice. Heat on low, stirring frequently until bubbly. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and serve with toothpicks.
